so it's been awhile...
I didn't realize it had been so long since I had posted in this! Since I last wrote in here (in May!), there have been big changes in my life
Chronologically:
I started a relationship with a really great guy, and fell madly in love
I went to Spain for three weeks, and fell madly in love with red wine and paella
I student-taught for a semester, and fell madly in love with teaching middle school band
Currently, I am a registered substitute teacher, but since the the beginning of this month, I've only subbed three times, which is a huge drag. I'm also on my mandatory two months off from working for the city (thanks, Seasonal Employment!), so I spend my days twiddling my thumbs and strengthening my portfolio, in the hopes that I will be a prime candidate in the tight job market this spring. It's looking likely that I will have a long-term sub gig in April, but that's not given yet, so we'll see...
My birthday is in about two weeks. I'm asking for health insurance. Let's hear it for adulthood!
