Hey, so guess who didn't update after her birthday? Gulie J! Um, I'll give a quick recap; it was pretty awesome...I went to pizza house on Friday night to celebrate at midnight with Anne, Jess, Ben, Peter, Laura, and Matt...while we were there we ran into a group of percussionists...I would like to thank Hayes Bunch and John Zastoupil for providing me with my first legal drinks! We went to a "spring break" party at 149 Hill, and that was a good time. Saturday we celebrated (again) at Pizza House (for the sake of my underage posse!) and had more good times...Matt made me write down what I drank on a napkin, and it didn't end up being that much. The highlight of the night was when Leah said, "Julie, you're not drunk, and you need to be. Bathroom break!" Then she and Anne dragged me into the bathroom, where Leah proceeded to make me chug some of the bottle of Boone's Farm she had given me as a present. Classy to the max! After that I met some assorted bandos at the Brown Jug, and then went to the PMA party at Pat's house, and that was fun, too! All in all, it was a great weekend. :)
Since then...oh yeah, I had great Valentine's day celebrations this year. Ben took me to the Chop House on the weekend before, which was great...mmmmmm, steak! On the real valentine's day, he brought me purple flowers, which are still here, but kind of dying, and Laura informed me yesterday that I could have cut the stems after a few days and changed the water and they night still be okay, but alas I fail at flower care. Aww, he's super cute, though. Anyway, Valentine's night I went on a hot triple date to Big Boy with Anne, Jess, Ben, Alex Fioto, and Alex Truelove. We dressed up in formalwear and even got appetizers...mozzerella sticks, yeah! So that was fun, too. :)
Now we're only a few days from spring break, and my brain is there already! I'm so pumped for this break, it's unbelieveable. Leah and I are going to rock out on the 23-hour train journey to Boston, which may or may not include: a 3-hour stop at Toledo in the middle of the night (BONUS!), the lounge car, new aquaintances, cranberry juice, trashy magazines, and lots of talking about fun things, and maybe even boys, since Leah has finally become a girl. I can't even talk about all the cool stuff we're going to do in Boston and then New Jersey/NYC, because this entry is too long already, but I can't wait! The only sad thing is that I will not see my woman Anne for a week! Tragedy! But then we will meet up in the big NJ and she and Leah will become couple #3...and they will be in love. See what I mean about my brain? It's not working properly - and doesn't quite make sense. Blagh!
That's enough writing for now - hope your weeks before spring break are all going as well as mine!
