Vivacious Vancouver
Here we are, finally in Vancouver! It was the first time we'd visited Sherri at her condo and so far, the trip has been very fun. (Well, the sitting in the car for 13 hours part wasn't that fun, but the sights were so lovely.) One of the best parts of her place is its closeness to the beach- it's only about a block away!
As some of you may know, there have been forest fires in B.C. lately and as a result, a good majority of the drive smelled like smoke. The forecast right now is very cloudy but there was lots of rain early this morning.... nonetheless, we visited the international Buddhist Temple down in Richmond where colourful umbrellas took the sky of the grounds. I definitely recommend all of you guys to go see it if you have the chance! Regardless of your faith, the temple is truly magnificent and spectacular.
After, we went exploring around Sherri's place. She lives near a street with many cute little boutiques; one I found especially cute was this cupcake place:
Mmmm, the cupcake I had was delicious. :) Agenda after dinner: beach time! Hope you're all having lovely summers!
