(no subject)
i'm back! woot!!
haha probably didn't even know i was gone, but i was...and now i'm not
the cruise was very fun, the ship was huge (as long as the empire state building is tall) and there was a bunch of really fun food, like escargot and caviar and weird soups and yummy desserts :)
in jamaica we went on a trip to climb a 1000 ft waterfall and we figured it would be like stairs next to the waterfalls that you walk up and look at the view...but nope you literally climb on top of the waterfall...you form a huge line by holding hands and climb up the cliffs in the water. not the safest activity, saw people walking around with their ankels wrapped all week. it was really fun though i liked it.
annnnd in "cozumel" kim and i went on a trip over to the mainland of mexico, so we never even saw cozumel. but we went to the myan ruins and a beach that you could snorkel at. the myan ruins were really cool and the beach was fun. but here was the problem. some teenage couple on the trip with us decided to disappear for about a half hour at the end of the trip, delaying us a while and we were already cutting it close to catching the last ferry to the ship. the tour guide was pissed he kinda lectured them and was talking really fast in spanish to the bus driver. if the ferry were to leave without us we would have been screwed and stuck in a very ghetto area of mexico. but we took some kind of shortcut and ran thru the city and jumped on the ferry. got to the boat just as it was gonna leave and headed straight to the dining room in our day clothes to have our lobster. we were both pretty stressed about the whole thing :/
but over all the trip was really fun...but a week was a long time and i'm happy to be home...here is a brief recap in pictures...
