Follow Up
I am okay. More importantly, so is my computer. Most importantly, so is my car. I parked on Dean Keeton and as I was trudging down University trying not to get swept off my feet by the undertow,(i succeeded and remained upright, the girl behind me however, didn't have quite the same fortune; i don't think she was trying hard enough..so no remorse) I envisioned my car being swept away. Those who have seen my car will know this fear was not unwarranted.
Anyways, only soaked from knees down. All in all, not to shabby. Thank you custodian guy. (...and God)
In all this madness, i've had an epiphany. I've spent all week writing paper after paper, and i've all of today trying to do a rewrite on yet another paper due tomorrow. It's been driving me mad. Now, i've decided there are more important things in life. Like being dry, and not getting hit by lightning. Like watching The Office and drinking Franzia. So I say, to hell with you paper! I choose the latter. I choose life!
