Doctor Who "The Eleventh Hour" - Review & Picspam!
I've just seen the new Doctor Who episode and I feel so relieved! I loved it and even if Ten will always be my Doctor, I liked Eleven and loved Amy! The plot of the episode wasn't the best of all but it didn't really matter since the goal was to make us discover the new Doctor and his new companion and well, for me it worked! I found their relationship so bittersweet and it made me love Amy! It was an unusual introduction to a companion and that's what I loved! And from the trailers, I thought it was all a bit Peter Pan, and this episode confirmed it to me! She made me think a lot of Wendy (in the 2003 movie by PJ Hogan) which is not a bad thing at all! :)
First of all, new opening. I'm not fond of the new vortex thingy nor the music, but maybe it needs time and I'll get used to it... But for now, I don't like it but what I like is that they use the new logo very well! I knew they could do something clever with it and they did! The transition of the letters into the Tardis is really well done!
What a great introduction to the new companion! I loved that! And little Amy is so cute!
This was obvious, we knew what would happen, but still, it broke my heart for this little girl who wanted to go with him so much! Who wanted to escape from her life...
I love her! She is so like Donna, yelling at him! And well he deserves it! I can't believe he doesn't make the link between little Amelia and grown-up Amy earlier!
haha! I so laughed at this! Everyone knows him from Amy's drawings and stories! She is so embarrassed they can't keep their mouth shut! :D

THIS totally sold Eleven to me! How awesome was that? Him emerging from Ten's face? Completely and utterly brilliant, it kind of made him legitimate to me...!
I just couldn't believe he did that TWICE to her! Abandoning her again, it broke my heart!
I really felt for her! (and this guy, Rory, behind her really made me think of Larry Nightingale in 'Blink')
The Doctor can be such a bastard!
It's been 2 years for her but she forgives him instantly, she wants to go with him so hard! 14 years to wait for him!
(and it reminds us of Madame de Pompadour who waited all her life in vain!)
And off we go to new adventures and I just can't wait!!!
I'm wondering where this wedding thing will lead us and what this 'prophecy' will bring!
The universe is cracked. The Pandorica will open. Silence will fall.
Well, I'm really excited now! And I already LOVE this new theme we could hear in the trailer! I find it really good and catchy! :)
