remember the bedding set i had to have? i've decided not to get it.

i'm wandering through wal-mart, killing time before my pictures are finished. i head to the "for the home" area to see if my bedding set is clearanced, because it is online. i passed this little display toward the end of one of the aisles and ari's hand shoots out of the carrier and is making grabbing motions. i look over and see these little wall art things. there's this 3d wall art plaque hanging from one of the hooks. it's maybe 6"x6". the background of it looks like cracked plaster. it has a raised character in the middle(that i'm assuming is chinese) in black, and a little red asian looking circle design on the lower corner. at the very bottom, it says "longevity." there are four in the set, but they only had the one. ari's little hand is still grabbing in that general direction, so i just pick it up and put it in the cart and keep wandering. a few minutes later, i see a reversible comforter. it is black on one side, beige on the other. i've seen it before, but never paid attention. it's under $30. that comforter would match my wall art. ah, but sheet sets can get expensive and they always include things i don't need ... like flat sheets. i turn the corner to the sheet aisle and find sheets ... in red, beige, and black. here's a package of two king pillowcases. here's a seperate fitted sheet. oh, and here's a dust ruffle. the comforter, 2 fitted sheets, dust ruffle, and 2 pillow cases is about $80 total. the previous sheet and bedding sets were about $120 total, and they came with things i didn't need ... namely pillow shams and flat sheets. although i absolutely adore that bedding set, it is better to opt for the more affordable option. i might also mention that i hate anything beige ... but i can totally make this scheme work.

this is where you all come in. please vote below.
