Scary dream

I went to visit my aunt who was an elementary school teacher at my old school in Philly. She let me be her assistant and had to go do something, so I tried to do a fun little learning problem with the class. I had Morgan with me so I said that she was 11 people years old so we should figure out how old she was in dog years. The kids didn't know ( Read more... )

Then you'll go get another job? It's not like medical school or law school where the only way you'll ever be able to pay for all those extra years of school is by working in a really hard stressful job that you might not even like. There will be lots of jobs available for you if the teaching thing doesn't work out...jobs that are a lot easier and pay just as much.

You have lots of experience with kids though, and already have some experience with what it's like to have a class, so I think you'll be fine.

With my major I don't really have a plan b though, so the best I can hope for is a job where your major doesn't matter.

And really, what major does have a great Plan B if it turns out you hate what you majored in?
