Boys, girls, and the unsure, welcome to the blog of a chubby young adult who is tired of her poor physical fitness. I'm going to be turning 20 soon and I'd like to get my shit together by then.

Height: 5’0”
Weight: 150 lbs
Double Chin: check
Love handles: check
Ironically strong self esteem: check



I am happy to inform you, that I love myself. Though my body may not be perfection, there is so much more to me than the surface. Even so, I’m not completely unfortunate in the looks department. What I am tired of is: high cholesterol (genetics play largely in my case), a 12 minute mile, laziness, vitamin D deficiency, overall lack of motivation, and bouts of depression (thank God for meds). Perhaps this tool will keep me on top of things…or maybe it will fall into the wasteland of forgotten blogs.

My goal, to be the healthiest Julia I can be. My Plan? A bit extreme. Have any of you heard of P90X or Insanity? How about Gold’s Gym cross fit? I intend to complete 2 months of Insanity followed by a cycle P90X (3 months). By then I should be at my goal weight (125 lbs)... or something has gone horribly awry. I plan to maintain that level of fitness through cross fit.
