Hey, okay, lots of info coming:
I did not enjoy Westminster at all. In fact, it was a pretty horrible experience. While I enjoyed the summer programs (which I went to as well) the actual school is full of a lot of back woods, creepy, closed minded church musicians who like to tell people they're going to hell. It's a messed up and corrupt place. BUT I did get a great music education, I got to take many classes at Princeton (which is my favorite school on EARTH), and I got four years of lessons from Sharon Sweet, who did wonders for my voice. In the end, I guess it was worth it, but I'm REALLY glad that you are going to NEC instead. If you're intelligent and open-minded, you won't fit in at Westminster. When I say that my years at Westminster were hard, I mean emotionally. I fit it perfectly at Princeton, though. I really should have gone there instead.

Anway, like I said, the summer programs are much more fun, in my opinion, than the actual college, so you'll have a great time, I'm sure. I'll email you my cell phone number in case you need anything (I'm always willing to help) and I'll also send you the number for Princeton Taxi.

I think by the main performance hall you mean Bristol Chapel, which is Westminster's poor excuse for a recital hall. I might be scheduled to work (as I usually am on Friday) but if I'm around I'll check out the performance. Keep me updated! :)

Oh no! That's terrible. It's interesting that you said that because I did a voice program there last summer too and got that same vibe from the place. I figured I'd audition anyway just for kicks since I was already there (they allowed us to audition during the summer) and then they only had half of my application information, no SAT scores, no recs, no transcript, nothing but my audition info and the basic app that I submitted and so I figured I hadn't ever finished applying but somehow they decided to accept me regardless and gave me a significant leadership scholarship, whatever that is, lol. But yeah, I thought it was too small for me. I'm sorry it was such an emotionally trying experience for you, although I'm sure you're stronger for it, so it may serve you well in the long run. I'm glad you enjoyed Princeton though.

Last summer, I had Rochelle Ellis as my private teacher for the summer program. And yeah, I meant Bristol Chapel =)
