Thanks for clarifying. This means that I'm perfectly okay with having the right to deny some cells the chance to develop into a human being either within myself or within another woman. I'm also okay with you having the right to carry a weapon with you that allows you the possibility to deny a human being the right to exist because he or she is harming you. I personally hope you'd go for incapacitating rather than killing, but accidents (and babies) happen.

Nope. That's an unknowable thing, and anyone who proclaims that they know for sure is wrong.

I've examined myself & my conscience, and I've come to my own conclusions. Other women should be allowed to make their own decisions based on as much information as possible.

Personally speaking, whether or not I'd choose to have an abortion would depend on my financial situation, my current health, and if the biological father could make an emotional & financial contribution to the ongoing support of a child.

And this changes with every sexual partner I have. (Sorry for the two part reply: I'm on my phone & it sucks for multiple paragraph responses. Will elaborate when I get home.)

I'm fairly sure that was sarcasm, but yeah, that's pretty much the sum of it. Although comparing the choice of carrying a gun to the choice of having an abortion is laughable.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is how you're seeing it.
A home invader : self-defense shooting :: a clump of cells : abortion.
By attacking me, the antagonist has created the situation.
By becoming a fetus, the protagonists have created the situation.
