I enjoy how there's a potential for hazardous weather this afternoon but the BMX website will be down from 1:30-3:30 for internet upgrades. XD
I finally did a repaint on my extra C.A. Cupid Monster High doll. Normally she looks like this.
Now she looks like this:
I didn't get it the way I wanted. I was trying for something delicate and instead this happened. It's not bad, but it's not my best work either. I'll probably wipe it and try again in a few days. I want to do better shading and more realistic eyes. This will require further learnings. One reason I can faceup a doll with eyewells is it's quite similar to putting on makeup. Painting eyes with a feeling of reality and depth takes practice, I guess. I'm aiming for something more like this.
