Oooh! Cool things I can do with my journal (fic rec - "Left My Heart")
So, I say to shoshannagold, "Are you reading 'Left My Heart'?" And she says, "No. Where do I find this wonder." I go to track it down, & she says, "Or, you could rec it on your journal."

So. "Left My Heart" by Emma Grant. After Hogwarts, Draco disappears to San Francisco, & the Ministry dispatches Harry to track him down, worried that he's 'gone bad.' Harry dutifully goes in search of him - & finds him smack in the middle of the Castro. Much gayness ensues. Mix in secret agents, an impatient Ministry, & emotionally-manipulative!Draco, & you have the stuff wonderful fanfic is made of. I love Emma's Draco - he's grown up a lot from the insufferable brat we know from canon, but not so much that the brat's not recognizable just below the surface. And her Harry's what I imagine Harry's going to be like when he's out of Hogwarts - fuzzy around the edges, unsure what, exactly, he ought to do now.
"Left My Heart" is a WIP, but Emma's been faithfully updating every Tuesday, so you won't be left hanging. Except in the way that you will, because a whole week will start to feel like waaaay too long to have to wait for a new installment.
