Files at work are labeled first letter of first name, last name. Just today I encountered D. Jackson, J. Ellison, A. Powers, & J. Carter (nice to see Janet took Sam's name after the wedding). I don't know why I get such a kick out of this stuff.

I've been rewatching my "Keen Eddie" tapes. In "Eddie Loves Baseball," I'm sorry, but I just can't convince myself that, when the double-decker graffitied 'Yank Go Home!' drives by, Monty's line is "I wrote that one!" Crazy as he may be, Monty is a cop, devoted to queen & country & (at least in my slash-warped little brain) Eddie. I prefer to hear it as "I rode in that one!" It makes more sense to me. As much as anything Monty says ever makes sense to me.
