It feels like I am playing hookie, but I'm not. I guess I just have a guilty conscious.
Since I worked way too much last week, I'm get afternoons off this week.
Today Ted and I decided to spend our freetime at the movies. We went to see Superman. The good news, it was a fun movie. I'm not sure I really liked what they did with the plot... but it was visually pleasing and kept with the basic Superman spirit. The bad news, the movie place accidentally started the movie an hour early. So Ted and I who were perfectly on time came in 45 minutes into the movie. The good news, the movie place gave us free passes to come back again. We haven't decided it we'll use them to go see the first part of Superman, or Pirates. I'm voting for Pirates. I think Ted agrees.
More good news. After taking another weekend off. I'm feeling 95% healthy again. Last weekend Ted and pretended to take vacation. We turned off all the phones, ordered out for food, and just hung out around NY. I slept quite a bit too. I'm still going in for a check up, just to make sure the sinus infection is totally gone, but I'm crossing my fingers that all is well.
It is really nice not to have class and work at the same time. I do feel like I have a bit too much free time on my hands though. I guess I can't complain about no time to write my article on Tanglewood... If I don't get published this summer it is my own fault.
