I can't help but be a little sad with this. It's nothing they seem to be doing on PURPOSE, jus' a little misplaced conception of what a great artist is, but y'know, I just never thought anyone'd ever say anything like that to me when I was active in the fandom.
I could argue that there are TONS and TONS of people I know who moved on who are still kicking ass in the art world (most of you are where I was hoping to be at this point in time) but I know that's not really the right response for this sort of thing. Or that there's new artists that are kicking ass. (There are. When someone faves my TLK artwork I often check out their faves and see all this new awesome art by dang young'ins.) I know it's just a small silly fandom for an animated movie that I left for VERY GOOD reason at the time but even years later
it is just nice to know my stuff is still appreciated.
I just know if some TLK art again it's gotta come from my own mind or something that personally inspired me, or else it would just be going through the motions.
(I admit, though, I'm missing these two in my icon along with the rest of their play-buddies. Characters just don't leave me that easily.)
