I almost typed "Lillian" instead of "Julian." Although honestly both are "TELL ME SOMETHING I DON'T KNOW" type deals...that's...the joke...

Man guis have you ever noticed how I've never done any real "alternate" Lillians? I don't even think I've drawn a gryphon!Lillian, which is what she technically is closest to in spirit. No parrots, no (literal) bluebirds, lionizations...
Why? (Besides the fact that I'm awfully grumpy on the subject of lionizations.)
Usually, if I can't colour her that distinctive shade of blue, if it's something fuzzy and would probably have hair/headfur and the typical four legged structure that most animals have, it usually ends up being a "....you'll have to take my word on it" thing. (I think the defining thing about Lillian's design is that it is at least superficially AGONIZINGLY simple. TARDIS-blue robot bird thing with huge eyes. Pretty much. Nothing really distinctive about her that can be transferred to any other forms, because most of what makes her distinctive IS her overall form. But no bells or whistles, or frills, for that matter.)
Too bad considering I kind of helped perpetuate the "DRAW YOUR HETHEREV CHARACTER AS A MLP:FiM PONY" meme that's been going on by working on "Unicorns Are Awful Beasties" in the group TinyChat and also did a MLP version of the most adorable demon hellbeast type critter I've ever seen rather early on and only finished it now...
Yeah I'm really not gonna get away doing that to my own Hetherev character.
Which is Lillian.
Although y'know, really stupid, shy, cheesy smile, huge, darling eyes...wait, that's part of the style, it'd look that way if it wasn't Lillian, well, at least I have that working for me. (DID YOU KNOW: The open-beaked grin of Lillian's that may seem derived from the "gryph grins" that were popularized by Mercedes Lackey's gryphons and is that way in canon because...her creator is a GRYPHON, actually started out as a cheesy toothy grin...without the teeth. TRUFAX.)
And yeah if you can tell she's a pegasus pony LETTING HER HAVE SOME WINGS DON'T SAY I DON'T DO NICE THINGS FOR LILLIAN.
I hate it when I know my warm-up sketches are going to be better than my finals.
Man I got so many other things to draw for that RP also anyway JEEZE do I really have to draw the Interaction objects?? It's a demin pouch, a rubber TARDIS keychain with two keys, and MONIES (SHINEE COINS.) WE KNOW WHAT THOSE LOOK LIKE. (But on the other hand I DO have to draw my second challenge. Nobody else has been brave enough to include the Mountain Man in the challenge images so I guess I stuck myself with the task of doing something with him first.) But now that I am doing art related to the group? I'm drawing ponies. Well...again, I do feel like I kind of helped fuel the flames for that in-group meme even without doing my own characters...or heck, nobody knew about My Little Tinko unless they were in that one TinyChat session IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY and saw me do the original sketch until today, like I said, I was just colouring my stupid comic fancomic in TinyChat last time and that was enough to get people drawing their characters as ponies. OOPS. I HATE IT WHEN I FEED MEMES ON ACCIDENT.
