Uhm. I don't know what that subject means. That was the first thing that popped into my mind.
I've actually been making art! And while a lot of you watch me on dA, I still have my obligitary ELJAY ART POSTS! Fun for all ages!
Man, three pieces of finished art. I think the world is coming to an end.
Oh, wait, no, two of them were of a certain robot. :|
Pretty much the reason for this was "I want a SC desktop that fits properly onto my screen because I'm an anal jerk about wallpapers fitting my desktops and I SUCK AT PHOTOSHOPPING PHOTOS." Yep, pretty much. Also another good excuse to cram in EVEN MORE NURNIES THAN I DID IN THE LAST PICTURE. The only thing more covered in nurnies/greebles than him is the walls of the SOL with all the weird toys and such they glued on. But I digress.
Butterflies because I am partial to the scene in the first movie that accurately describes my trains of thought: Getting distracted by a "butterfly," chasing it, and landing lord-knows-where. Anybody who has had a conversation with me has seen this in action.
(If anyone HERE wants a desktop version, I'll make one for you in any size. Really! That's the fun of high-res art!)

Y'know, when I posted this, I realized I really am lucky I'm not diabetic yet after drawing so many painfully cute things.
I love graphite. Why haven't I been doing this for a long time? I should use other paper besides what's in my sketchbook because it smudges more than paper should.
I partially blamed pocket_entropy for this in my dA description because I thought of it after going through her "IT TASTES LIKE DIABETES" FA gallery. Coincidence? I THINK NOT.
WHAT WHAT IS THIS IT'S NOT A ROBOT OR IS IT FANART AND IT'S PAINTED AND STUFF AND IT HAS A GRYPHON AND CLOUDS AND...WOW! It's almost like all that old art I used to do! Y'know, the art that most people started watching me for?
Kiriban art for Goldy-Gry on dA, those of you who saw my F-only crit post will recognize this. HOPEFULLY SHE HAS ENOUGH OF A BUTT AND SUCH, GUYS.
I now have no use for OpenCanvas because after getting frustrating dealing with it trying to paint clouds for a while because I forgot my preferred brush settings and dynamics I instead took it into SAI and found the oil paint brush and the much, much more idiot-proof control panels to control brush dynamics and such. NOW EVEN STUPID PEOPLE CAN PAINT!
(Yes, my only use for OpenCanvas was painting clouds and stuff. I know, sad.)
(I am proud of those clouds. I worked loosely from a ref, but man, those are the best I've done either way. Woo. Also: almost none of those cloud colours are what you think they are. Like there ain't no farkking purple in there.)
Part of the reason why I'm using other programs for colouring more is because Photoshop is being a butt about picking up pressure sensitivity. My opacity for all my brushes is as if everything has pressure sensitivity turned off unless I turn down the opacity to like, 10% and under. STOOP. I can't do Photoshop paintings like I used to if it's gonna act like that! I probably just need to re-install, but still....:P
Backlighting isn't as hard as it looks! Really!
HAY HOPEFULLY I'LL HAVE MORE FINISHED ART TO POST AND IT WON'T ALL BE ROBOTS WOULDN'T THAT BE AWESOME?
