[ART POST] Let's see how long I'm happy with this version!
Finally finished. *puffs on a bubble pipe* Glad to get it done fairly early at night; I gotta work at noon tomorrow.
Do I even need to say anything anymore? As I said, this is a redo of what was a pic that, despite how bad I thought it was, that people seemed to like. I whined so much about it I was told to redo it, and...I did.
Inspired by a FreeFall strip, because I sure as heck know a lot of kids (or people who, when they WERE kids) would probably never pass up the chance to hug a real live (literally) robot even if it can easily by sheer size and strength alone kill them. And I doubt Johnny would ever pass up the chance for hugs, himself. He's hopelessly friendly like that.
Hm. Still worried if you can't tell that's a kid. That and the crop-in got rid of the cute factor that the fact that the kid is on their tip-toes brought. Ah well, I got lazy I thought a crop in would seem more "warm" or something like that.
Now to hide all the pictures of me as an elementary schooler!
I guess I should try to be responsible about what art I do now. :P
