Homefront one week in
So I've been in Afghanistan for about a week. Not to stressful here, to be honest.
Long story short, Kristen quit her job at Geico and immediately landed an Administrative Assistant job at the Best Western in Forsyth. She had applied for a housekeeping position, but the owner apparently decided she was overqualified and offered her the salaried position instead, adding that she could do housework also if she needed the extra money. Don't know what they pay or what benefits are, but I'm cool with it. If she sticks with it for awhile, at least.
The owner has also offered that if she wants to move out, she can stay at the hotel for $400 per month, cable and internet included. I'm also cool with that as it would save her rent money and a commute, though there might be an issue with being asked randomly to work more. The only issue is my stuff, but if she puts into storage what she can't take with her, then I'm cool.
Man, she changes her mind like I change my underwear, but she's still the most reliable sibling of the bunch.
