suddenly, out of nowhere...

Yeah OK it's been awhile. I still read my flist daily, but I prefer to post on Tumblr because I can upload images straight onto it instead of filling my imageshack with crap that'll need to be deleted eventually (speaking of which, it made me do a pretty big cleanout a few weeks ago so if there are broken images, that's what happened)

QUICK YEAR RECAP FOR THE LESS TUMBLR-INCLINED: I caught two colds, a stomach flu, and am currently battling pneumonia! I think I'm getting better but we'll see! The odds aren't in my favor for the THG midnight premiere though. Also I've been playing the crap out of Wakfu AS USUAL, have a full year sub. Currently watching the following anime: Future Diary, High School DxD (don't judge me, it's fun and Koneko is perfect), Black Rock Shooter. Looking forward to Sankarea and the second half of Fate/Zero next month!!

OK now for what I REALLY wanted to post about:
Journey.

First of all, if you have a ps3 and haven't bought this game, BUY THIS GAME.
I wanna cosplay the protag, because it's easily recognizable and I like the idea of coming up with a little pixel symbol of my own and handing out pins of it to anyone who knows what I am! C'MON, HOW FUN WOULD THAT BE.
The question is, what would be the best way to go about making the costume? It's basically just a giant poncho and a hood with a scarf, but the edge detailing is what I'm most concerned with. How would you go about doing that? I haven't got the slightest idea. I'm actually tempted to look for thin curtains with interesting trim that I could use instead of fabric. (As for the face, I have a grim reaper hood that I can cannibalize.)

Ideas are welcome!
