Jacob stopped creating fractals earlier this year, which really saddened me 'cos he was the first fractal artist I ever followed on dA. I wanted to use one of his fractals as a wallpaper so I could always remember his talents. "F a t e" seemed the most appropriate one to use, even though there are a few I like better. I keep hoping that eventually he will change his mind and return, since he was one of the biggest inspirations for my own fractal attempts... but perhaps that is the fate of all talented people, to not realize how talented they really are.
