Wow
M and I saw a defnitely-not-normal shooting star Saturday night, around 7:30, in the west. It came in from the southeast, it was so bright it took me a minute to realize it was not a plane. It was there long enough for me to say somethimg like wow, look at that, and for M to look and see it too. It was not white, either, more like a pale greeny-blue. Which makes this the second "falling star" of this description I've seen, now, though the other one was closer, close ehough to see flames instead of just a dot, and bright enough that we saw it quite clearly in the daytime (in Maryland, not here).
