my window's open and the cool air is seeping in. there's something about this kind of weather that lifts my spirits on its own, no matter what's going on in my life. not that they could have been much higher anyway, but...
i've come to see that even when things are not what you planned, they can be phenomenal...that plans are sometimes a hindrance. and that happiness comes from unexpected places and at unexpected times. and being that our expectations are always misguided, it's better to take things as they come and really appreciate them. because there are a lot of things to appreciate.
