(no subject)
Because Sian asked i am writing a post. However, i am quite tired and can't really be that bothered so it will probably be very short.
It's the Christmas work do tomorrow night, exciting. And then like two WHOLE weeks off. God knows what i'll do with all that spare time! Although am kind of hoping that new boy fancier will be mine by then and can take me out places. Or just stay in my room...
Oh have like lost another stone, so that's three since last year. Am hoping for four next year considering i joined the gym for a year and i go more than i did in Leicester. But who knows, It was the Christmas Fuddle today at work (apparently this is a Yorkshire thing) you bring lots of food and everyone eats lots of food. Is all very Christmassy at school but still busy, busy, busy! I'm always going to be on the KS1 side of RP now, after Christmas, which is ok. It does mean a lot of preparaton though! They're also harder being that they're younger and most have the mental capability of two year olds. And i'm not being sarcastic.
Going to the pub again on Friday to see Luke (the 19 - yes, 19 year old) boy i happen to fancy. Bernadette is coming too. Hopefully this week i'll talk to him. It's really bad fancying people, you start to get these visions of the "future". Hahaha, am loser-type.
I actually don't mind this working life so much now that i have free weekends cos it means i do still have a social life. I just find the whole staying up late on school nights hard. I think it's cos i always have to be on the ball with these children. And it just doesn't work if you're in a bad mood.
I got some red wine today as a Christmas present from a teacher :( which means i had to go out and buy them presents. I don't like red wine, will have to see what happensto it.
I applied ages ago now for Leeds Uni and my friend at work got her PGCE referred to her second choice, she didn't even get asked for an interview! And this is the second school she's worked in! Argh i say. Cos i know it's obviously harder to get into Leeds cos they all like it an' that.
Hopefully this post is long enough.
This year has gone much too fast, i guess that'll be the way now, won't it? Soon we'll be embarking on something else. Or maybe soon we'll be stressing over Lou's wedding! What to get her, what to wear, where is it, blah blah blah blah?
But obviously Siany has a rather exiting thing happening to her next year!
