One thing that bothered me was the Mikaela couldn't keep her mouth closed. XD

Lol, people in costume! They'd probably have to stand on seven stilts. XD

You're talking about with his mom? Sam's "happy time"? Oh goooood. That really is embarrassing, even if it was only the three of them talking~!

I can imagine, lol! That'd be something you say about sentai, but... Transformers? Movie with heaps of metal? XD

It's too early to expose them to the methods of perversity! XDXD How are the parents going to explain that?

For serious?! Oh god!! XD

they'll just have to go the route sam's mom had to take and refer to it as "happy time"... *facepalm*

"Well, you know, you have to spend time with yourself... Getting to know yourself more... And it's a happy time!" XD If there was a more eloquent and more ambiguous way of putting it, great job! XD

I wonder about her future patients...

just so long as she doesn't get into further details like, "mommy sometimes spends time with herself when daddy's not around..."

i feel for her future patients... can we say malpractice lawsuit?!! j/k... (i hope) *crosses fingers*

Yes, and when Daddy is also mentioned, the kid might ask for a tutorial~! Oh god. @_@

Lol! I learned in my Anthro class you can't sue a doctore for malpractice if you end up getting injured or something. u.u

seriously, i'm scared. the moment that happens, i'm going to yell at my child and tell them that they're grounded and they should be asleep!!! *awkward*

really? because here in the states, everybody seems to sue for every little thing. it's crazy.

Yeah, Americans are litigious. But probably doctors settle privately?

Reply

juliagulia1017 July 19 2007, 13:48:50 UTC
yeah. we like to sue if we spill hot coffee on our pants, or when we're dissatisfied with our dry cleaning. we also sue when we trap ourselves inside a washer/dryer unit.

lksdjflksdjfsdf stupid.

doctors do tend to settle privately if they're at fault, but when there's a wrongful death suit, i don't understand those, really. if a patient undergoing surgery was 65 and died on the operating table, is that cause enough to sue the hospital? for me, i don't know where the fine line between "wrongful death" and "natural death" stands, especially if we don't know how long our time on earth really is...

guh, it's too early for this discussion. i need to get ready for work!!!

Lol!! *cracks up*

In our Anthro 10, there was some doctor who recommended cutting off a little boy's penis because it was too small and raise him as a girl. So the parents did, but while the kid was growing up he didn't feel like a girl, but a boy. When he was an adolescent, he ran away from the treatment by said doctor and lived as a man when he grew up.

Point is, even if there was a sort of mental trauma for the patient, the doctor isn't responsible for that. It's quite a funny story, though. XD

*chokes*

actually, i think i remember hearing that story once before on the news... it would be a premise to a great yaoi fic/manga if that doctor and the former boy/girl whichever fell in love...

but i don't like yaoi... DX
