FUCK YOU, DAYLIGHT SAVINGS!!!

Mar 12, 2007 08:08

i have been robbed of sleep, and my clock says 8:12am, when it feels much, much earlier than that.

why are americans such freaks that we have to observe something so stupid?

I'm so glad I was on a plane before the clocks switched. I was dis-flipping-oriented anyway.

The whole idea is silly. I say we move the planet a little further out, give it a very large ice cube to weight it down, then the earth spins slower, meaning more hours to a day and be done with it. Humans can apparently work with 36 hour days quite comfortably. More sleep, more fanfiction... shutting up now.

i heard on discovery that if we were just a wee bit further from the sun, there would be no chance of survival (save for cockroaches... **shudders**). it's just one of those things i picked up while waiting for "mythbusters" to air. i have a bit of a nerd crush on grant... lol~!!

but i would love more hours to do what i like to do. of course, i'd have to win the lotto and set up housing in japan, korea, england, new york, boston, vancouver, hawaii, hong kong, chicago... and oy, i can't even begin to FATHOM what a 36-hour anime marathon would do to my inner-fangirl...

shwing!!!

Dude. More time to write, more time to read, more time to curl up in a corner and GAG, but hey, more time to go find a friend and whine about stupid people together.

seriously, why do i feel like i've been gagging more? ff.net has been driving me crazy. for every good story, there are five horrible stories.

math has never been my strongest suit, but those aren't good odds.

lol, could you imagine a day full of complaining and whining? i'd call that a MARRIAGE. XD

True enough... for every decent writer... there are like twenty children who think be able to string together words constitutes literature.

And as for marryaege... if Ican find someone that cooks, pays for stuff, and doesn't mind the fangirling... I think I'd be set.

Though this standard probably means I'm doomed to be single.

i'll be single with you. i doubt i'd ever find someone with hidan's good looks who could cook like tyler florence...

i think my husband would have to be deaf. that way he can sit through my endless tirades about bad lit.

We should start a Home for Lonely Fangirls (who have given up on real men).

We can be cynical and bitter together. And apparently my mother has booked me a ticket to Australia in May... Flying out RIGHT after I get out of school, and returning late morning on the 26th. Can you say bad timing? The Saturdays of cons are always the most crowded... I think I may die. Soo not enough time to get any sort of costume ready.
I realize it's Oz... but she's making me come with so we can find a nursing home for my grandmother.

We may yet work something out for Fanime... ¬_¬;
luvvle~

YES! Come to Vancouver... :D

I'm with ya on the multiple houses thing. Writing is so much more fun when it's nomadic.
