Sweet Sixteen
So as most of you know yesterday was my birthday. It was one of those birthdays that really didnt feel like your birthday, but you knew it was.
My mom woke me up at 730 asking if i would be ready to go in 30 min. I really just wanted to sleep in. So i got up and we went to the DOL so i could get my license. We surprisingly didnt have to wait for that long. UGH! my picture turned out like crap.
After i got my license i drove to my soccer game. It was sorta scary driving alone for the first time.. but i must say it was quite a bit of fun! I could finally blast my music in the car without getting yelled at by the parentals. We lost our game 1-0 and that sorta sucks.. but oh well. I think we placed second in our division.. but im not possitive. When i got home i decided i wanted to back into my driveway and park. Bad idea. I almost hit my dad's car and i ended up all sideways... haha you could definatly see why i failed backing around a corner.
My mom and my sister took me to see the new Bridget Jones movie and i really liked it. After that Chrissy was insisting that we go see the new village at the mall. My mom said she had to go do something and that she would meet us at Red Robin. We showed up at RR and the place was packed. My mom said she already got us a table. I was thinking to myself, how did she get a table that fast with so many people? So we walked into this corner and i saw no open tables. Then i heard all these people next to me yell "SURPRISE!!!" and i looked over and a bunch of my friends were sitting there. I was seriously really surprised and i had no idea my mom had been planning that. Afterwards everyone came over and spent the night. We watched a bunch of movies and read some Cosmo, Man! thats the best magazine ever! lol.
Today was fun. Linda took me to Old Country Buffet for lunch with Allie. I refused to go on the freeway so we had to go this really long round about way... but it was fun. After that i went home and did nothing for like an hour and i had to head out to church for this meeting. I was gonna pick up linda on the way so i left about 5 min early thinking that would give me enough time. My car stalled about 3 times trying to pull out of the driveway and then wouldnt start once. So that took up 5 minutes. On the way there i got stopped at EVERY SINGLE LIGHT and then a bunch of cops came by and i had to wait for them to pass. We ended up getting to the meeting almost 15 minutes late. We had an hour until we needed to be back for Youth Group so we went to Starbucks and then drove around. We went to this sorta creepy park and went on the swings. That was fun. lol.
Next weekend will be fun. Ice blocking, baby!
