Sleeping takes up so much precious time.

I would like to publicly apologize to....everything (?) for complaining about a lack of excitement in my life. I have enjoyed this Christmas break SO much, due almost entirely to my fantastic friends whom I too often overlook and underestimate. You are all marvelous.
Also, as if it could get any better, only 4 more days until Christmas! And then after that, when normally everyone goes through that post-Christmas slump, Tracy and I leave to visit Seth/NYC, the dual loves of my life!

Tommy's party last night was THE MOST fun. I was expecting fun, but WHO KNEW just exactly how much fun it would be? Certainly not me. One of my favorite things about my drama/chorus/still at CHHS friends is that we can still play games like hide and seek and sardines without feeling like idiots.

Also, Justin's British friend Zack is extremely fun. I think we bonded a little bit.

I recently got back from a ridiculously fun and random excursion to Lilburn/Stone Mountain with Zach and Mikey and Manitoba (to be explained shortly). It included but was not limited to a delicious stuffing of faces at Stone Mountain Pizza Cafe, a visit to an amazing museum of S.M. history, and a spontanous and PERFECT climb to the very top of S.M. (my very first time!). At the end there was also pretty S.M. Christmas lights and a peppermint mocha.

In all seriousness though, our climb to the top of S.M. was incredibly breathtaking and perfect. The weather was so clear and crisp; cold enough to keep us cool as we heaved and hoed up the entire mountain, but not cold enough to need jackets over our shirts. We stopped every five minutes or so to gaze at the gorgeous Atlanta skyline/Buckhead/everything else in GA because you can see it all from S.M. We arrived at the top just in time to watch the sun set....it was possibly the most incredible thing I have ever seen. It was quite a feat for me to make it to the top, given my combination of being relatively non-athletic and unnecessarily scared of heights, but it was more than worth it. The only thing that could have made it better would have been having a camera. Especially since Manitoba came, and she let out a blood-curdling chicken scream from the very top.
...sorry if I rambled on about that, but I want to remember it forever. It was that amazing.

Oh, and I would like to announce to the world of livejournal that although I did not get a $10 Best Buy giftcard OR a livejournal t-shirt from the gag gift-exchange, I have officially adopted the most outstandingly hilarious rubber chicken into my heart, and she has been christened Manitoba. As soon as I can, I will post a picture, but my camera is acting up right now.

There are so many people that I want to spend enormous amounts of time with during the rest of break and I am worried that it won't happen. Please let it happen. Please, all of you, call me and we will set up a time, because nothing would make me happier than spending time with you. Off the top of my head, this includes but is not limited to:
Emily WILSFORD
Kelly Mokris (Happy Birthday by the way, silly)
Aaron/Chris/those guys, it was SO wonderful to see you Friday, and much too short--what a tease
Bronwyn
Zach/Mikey/Juice/TKTiff (Bonjour Dog!)
Jesse Hinson
Tommy, Tyler, LauraAnnJacobs (hope you are feeling better love)
John Nicholas Nicholaides Jr.
All of the DeWitts + Jenn
Jordan Dalton
Andrea Wortel and John Edwards
Chuck and Melissa
Jomax
David Langley (dinner on Monday? eh? ehh?)
Juuuurstin

and completely honestly, everyone else who is reading this. I love people...and I really cannot think of a single person who I would not love to spend time with over this break.

oh and also, can I just say that it is so comforting and wonderful to have Tracy and Julia reunited, if ever briefly. I love you Spaceface, and it makes my break to be able to call you every morning and expect to make plans jointly with you.

Zach made me this fantastic Christmas mix CD that I kind of want to burn for everyone I know. It is unbelievably good.
