Big update!
This week has been really great!!!
Monday and Tuesday we had school. Monday was our last day with Daniela and it made me very sad because I'm going to miss her so much and class is going to be really boring without her. How am I going to learn Italian without her?!?!?! I'm planning on sending her some sort of gift and a letter in the mail because she helped me (us?) so much. I am offically really, really nerdy. I am the Vice-President of Mu Alpha Theta! Put that in your pipe and smoke it!!! lol, it's pretty amazing and I'm really excited.
Wednesday we left for Vero Beach. We did a bunch of stuff in the morning. I don't really remember what most of it was, but I do know that we brought my car to Midas to get fixed while we were gone, since the outisde and inside door handles of the driver's door were both broken. Wow, that was a really long sentence. Scarlet Letter style lol. The ride up was really boring, as always. My brother and I watched A Wrinkle in Time. It was pretty good.
We got there and there isn't anything to do in a 95-year-old woman's home. Although I love her to death, it's so boring! My papa and my step-grandma(Marilee) came over and we ate homemade lasagna. It was really, really good. 6 people ate a whole pan!!! WOAH! :)
Thanksgiving we did absolutely nothing until dinner (which was at 3). I woke up at 8 because my great-grandma came in and woke up me. So I read a whole book between the time I woke up and the time we ate Thanksgiving dinner. btw, it was The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Dinner was delicious. We had fried turkey, lots of stuffing, Cracker macaroni and cheese, green beans, bisquits, sweet potato souffle, fruit salad...It was sooooooooo good!!! After dinner we chilled outside for a bit and then my mom, brother, and I went to the beach because my mom wanted to walk off all of the food she had just eaten. After that we went back to my papa's house and sat by the fire. It was fun listening to him tell his stories about the army. It makes me admire him that much more. By the time we got back to my graet-grandma's house at 8:30, she was already asleep because she cooked most of the Thanksgiving food AND cleaned it all up! She wouldn't get out of the kitchen and my brother and I tried to do the dishes, but she wouldn't let us!!
Friday we woke up and went to dinner with my papa at the Kountry Kitchen. It was delicious as usual. We saw my cousins that we haven't seen in forever...Doo-doo and Joe. Don't ask me how Doo-doo got her name because I have no idea. They are about my mom's mom's age so yeah. Then we went to the surf shop and I got a new shirt and earrings and a necklace w00t! Then we went to the outlet mall and came home.
When we got back, my mom took me to Midas to pick up my car. They had fixed the outside door handle, but not he inside because all of the parts shops were closed. So we waiteduntil they were done. The guy comes in and is like "we locked your keys in the car." Well, that's just wonderful. He assures me that he could get them out in no time. Would you consider 20 minutes no time? Well, then I got all packed up and he's like well, we have to put the inside panel back on. I'm all GAAAHHH!! So finally my brother and I got home and I went to the movies with Melanie, Stacey, Joe, Dan, Manda, and Melanie's parents to see Harry Potter. We picked up Brittany in the movies too so she came along.
I MISSED MANDA SO MUCH AND I'M SO GLAD SHE'S BACK!!!!
