Easter Parade of thoughts
I can't believe it's been so long since I posted! Hmm. I may just have to stick my toe back into blogging...
Here's what's on my mind these days:
- Gypsy. I've been ushering at the show for most of my evenings lately, and man it's wonderful to hear those songs on a nightly basis. I don't want to get too into reviewing the show, but I will say that Leigh Ann Larkin (June) is going to be a big Broadway star. She's terrific.
- The election. On Fridays I'm actually excited to go to work so that I can listen to the Slate Gabfest and NPR's It's all politics. Those two shows are just so much fun to listen to! My Obama signs have arrived in the mail, so we're going to hang them in our windows and give a couple away to friends, too.
- NYMF. Am drowning in script submissions, but that's only going to last another week.
- Scrabble. Mom sent me a deluxe scrabble game for my 30th birthday (which still isn't for another few weeks - I'm trying to live it up during these last few days of my twenties!) and I can't wait to show it off to my board game buddies. Cheryl, of course, is a book editor and a brilliant player who beats me every time. I have told her, however, that my day will come. Of course, it would come a lot sooner if I was good about studying my three-letter words...
