The Evil Eye of Clemens
So I told a couple of my friends, Jeremiah and Meredith, that I was going to Houston to see the Cards play the Astros the weekend of Sept 22-24. (And hopefully, angua9! YAYAYAY!) They're huge Red Sox fans, but both said they'd never go to Texas, even to see their beloved baseball team. Because it's Texas, the home of George Bush, etc.
(Eh, whatever, get worked up about that or don't, I don't really care. Personally, I just laughed at them.)
Then Jeremiah said, "When are you going? How are you getting there?"
And I responded, "Well, I'm flying of course... "
Jeremiah: "One does not simply fly into Mordor!"
Well, it made me giggle.
