Interview Me/You!

Jun 16, 2008 20:21

I was interviewed by buncha_cruncha... anyone who wants to be interviewed, leave a comment! :)

Here are the rules:
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you 5 questions of a personal nature.
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them 5 questions.

1. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I'm not sure of the location yet, but I know I want a place that is quite warm all year round. I want to live in a bike-friendly place, where there are local markets, greenery everywhere, everything is built and run very environmentally-conscious... I want to live in a place that is not conservative, because abortion rights, homosexual rights, equality for men and women, races, etc, is all very important to me. Anyway want to tell me where that is? (I also would not live in the U.S., or any place where guns are allowed)

2. What was your first job? Did you like it?
My first job was working as an assistant for my yoga teacher. She was getting her ground starting up a yoga practice, and I was helping with her accounting, organization, calling people, etc. It was pretty easy, although it made me realize that 1. I hated organizing shit that wasn't my own, and 2. I hated having my 'bosses' or superiors hovering over my every move.

3. What's one great memory you have from childhood?
I feel like they are all jumbled into one 'my childhood memory'. But I guess I'd have to choose any moment I was exploring the water and greenery at my cottage, or the forests, fields and gardens of my farm (both of which I no longer have, due to deaths in the family, will stuff, but I am still able to visit the cottage occasionally). I had such a magical time at both those places, where nothing bad ever seemed to happen, and I rarely saw my parents. It's odd, but of all my happy childhood memories, none include my parents, either because they were not present, or the memories were not exceptionally happy. Anyway.

4. What is one talent you wish you had?
I wish I had creative tendencies, such as drawing, painting, and creating anything really. I also wish I had been put into more competitive sports programs, so that I could develop my skills further. But then maybe I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much, I don't know.

5. What is the most expensive thing you've ever bought?
Uhm... probably my camera, which was like a couple hundred bucks. I used to go on a lot of shopping sprees, buying a lot of clothes. But I stopped doing that maybe 4-5 years ago.

So yeah, get yo'selves INTERVIEWED!!!
