So, this is what LiveJournal has been up to recently.

beckyzoole proposed a CONTENT STRIKE on March 21st 2008 for a full 24 hours (from midnight to midnight).

Because LJ has:
- removed the Basic account option (the only free account option without paid advertisement) without telling the LJ community until someone spotted it.
- removed certain top interests (such as bisexuality, depression, fanfiction, faeries...) without warning, only to reinstate them 3 hours later after users noticed and were outraged
- generally been uncommunicative with the LiveJournal community about current and upcoming changes, and
- treated all the LiveJournal users as products, rather than people

So, please, to send message to LiveJournal Inc/SUP, please do not access LiveJournal (i.e. no viewing of LiveJournal pages, no commenting, no posting) for a full 24 hours this upcoming Friday. For specific times, see below:
