Woah. What am I even doing alive? And... making Sarkney mixes, over 2 years after I have given up on the show. Yes, season 4 and 5 were atrocious, we just gotta deal with it the best we can: by forgetting they ever happened. Other than the Sarkney scenes. They stay rich in my mind ( Read more... )

I didn't have a Sarkney icon uploaded but you just got me to now. It really was wrong of me to not have one. Very wrong.

Oh Sarkney, what wasted potential. Seriously, her going slightly dark and having something (even tiny) go on between them in S2 would have been the height of awesomeness; his bad boy to Yawn's boyscout *pukes*. Especially with him knowing her mother, she could've tried to get info from him and ended up in deeper than she meant. Sigh.

And then another squandered opportunity with S3 and her Julia days! And yet another connection; her with his father and him having been with her mother. PISSED AWAY.

The last half of S3 through to the last episode of S5 bar the limekiss didn't happen as far as I'm concerned. I did like his turn in 5.17 with not wanting to end the world, although I did not like his being bested by Agent Wrinkles.

And does it make me sad if I derive intense pleasure from the limekiss because a certain anti-Sarkney once proclaimed that Sydney would never EVER touch her lips to Sark's voluntarily? Because if it does, then I don't care. *revels in the warm caress of pettiness*

Downloading the mix now, will tell you what I think of it soon. :)

Wow, that was long, amazing, succinct and just about everything every Sarkney fan has ever wanted, hope for, and really believed should have happened.

And it should have. There were so many opportunities.

Do you remember there was a rumor going around that JJ cut out a very obvious Sarkney scene... and didn't put it on the DVD deleted scenes? Do you remember that?

Oh man...the deleted scene where Sark sneaks in when she's untying him in Sucession (season 3 episode 2)? Another wasted Sarkney oppurtunity I blame on JJ Abrams.

Don't get excited! I don't think it actually was filmed. That was the Sarkney scene that I think was planned but never came to fruition. She was unlocking his cuffs or whatever and it was to happen right before or after Sark says, "My life's in danger, isn't it?" It was a rumor for awhile and I never found any real evidence of it. Sorry to get your hopes up...but how awesome would it have been if it did happen?

Success! I found it. David didn't mention it in an interview but at an Alias con. Hee, I linked you to my post on the subject, but keep reading and you'll see it. I dunno if that's enough proof for ya, but that's what I've got. ;)

Oh and thre's this little tidbit to somewhat back it up.

I assume you're looking for more of a reason than "Because JJ hates us". Our last chance is the S5 dvds or the mega boxset, but I'm not holding out much hope. ;_; What I wouldn't give for it to be released. *heavy sigh*
