In advance of this weekend's Wicked Divas in Calgary, some delightful Julia Murney press has popped up.

First, Julia and Alli Mauzey were interviewed on the CBC show The Homestretch. The show was nice enough to post it to the internet for everyone to enjoy. Click here for the interview. Short, but nice.

Second, AvenueCalgary.com posted a text interview here.

What qualities do you think set Broadway divas apart from other performers?

Not unlike the witches, I think there are good divas and there are bad divas. The good Broadway diva is someone who happens to have the lead in a show and sets the tone for everyone else. By being kind and being giving, she makes the cast a family.

The bad divas, I think, are the ones who are sort of interested in what they’re doing and that’s the end of that; everyone else can just get out of her way. It doesn't make for quite as fun an experience.
