My supervisor is quite happy with its structure, but what struck me was that my research question (or the idea of what I want to look at) is not covered at all. I can of course carry on writing what I started, but how will it help me answer my research question and/or build an argument? I can't be angry with my supervisor anymore, as I've got no more anger left in me :) I looked at her PhD thesis and the thesis of one of her students and both do not have a common I(L)MRAD structure. So I guess I just have to keep writing what I've started and hope it'll get me somewhere.
P.S. Apparently, Fairclough's theory of critical discourse analysis (CDA) is muddled up. I don't really get why, yet... Anyways, this is not part of lit review so I'll think about it when I get there.
