okay, so here is my review of the concert! Please read it! It took me a while. Tell me what you thought of the concert wherever you went to it!
holy shit! yesterday was the best day of my life!
Michaels set was okay I guess. It just wasn't like my favorite. I'm not much of a fan of Michael, but I think that he did pretty good. I was kinda dissapointed with his set really. I just didn't feel the vibe as I did with most of the others. It didn't really catch my attention. I liked him in the beggining of the show. Then I realized that his voice wasn't that great and his style wasn't either. I wish that I could say something better about him and his set, but there wasn't anything that interesting going on with him.
Then Meghan came on. I really like her, and I think did a great job. And she looked so pretty doing it! Her first song "Put your Records On," was definitely her best. It fit her voice perfectly. That pink dress that she wore was so pretty on her. She looked so sexy! I love Meggie! She is so beautiful! Her voice is just so unique. She definitely has her own style, and it totally rocks my world! Once again, she is just so beautiful and fun! She's from Salt Lake City too! That just makes her all the more awesomer!
Scott was next. He did pretty good, except we couldn't see him that well. My brother seemed pretty happy during this set. I really like Thousand Miles. It just fit his voice perfectly. It was great! He is just such an adorable little boy. Well, not so little. He is adorable though. It's sad that he is blind, but he doesn't let that stop him. He is an astounding musician. He plays like a ton of different instruments. Like when he brought out the guitar on the show, I thought that was just so cool. The piano is definitely in his comfort zone though.
Lil was really good. She is so pretty and such a great singer! I loved Single Ladies. I was up and dancing like crazy. I wasn't much of a fan during the show, but now my mind has been changed. Her hair. So pretty. She should get a record deal. She would do great. I don't really get what Simon wasn't feeling with all of her song choices and style on the show. I kinda liked it. "The Rose" was definitely one of my favorites by her. It was so pretty.
I wasn't so crazy about Anoop's set, but I do like him. I didn't really know any of the songs that he sang, so I couldn't really get into it that much. People keep going crazy about when he did My Perogative. I didn't think it was that great really. Didn't make me as excited as I wanted to be. He could of done a lot better I think. Sorry Anoop, just not one of your best performances that I've seen.
Matt was just great. I love him. Holy crap, his piano playing was amazing! He is insanely good. And then when he brought out the fedora, I went crazy. I swear that he is Justin Timberlake's twin. They are long lost brothers split at birth. I mean seriously, who can't tell the extremely creepy resemblance between the two. They are both awesome. They look like exactly alike. And their voices sound alike too. I have a fedora that I got a few months ago. Now, whenever I wear it, I just think of Matt and his awesomeness. He is so funny too! Ever watched him on Anoop's and Danny's bubble tweet's. He is just so entertaining. It's really cool that he is a piano player. Guys who can play the piano like that are so cool! Like I just said... haha. Matt Giraud. Will you marry me?? Haha. I wish. Keep rocking the piano and fedora like you do Matt!
And, don't get me started on when Allison came on. Allison Iraheta....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is such a little firecracker. I'm always smiling when she is on that stage. She just makes so happy! I loved Allison's set!!! Definitely one of the best sets of the evening. It was frieking amazing! I don't think there should have been an intermission. I was going crazy just waiting for the show to resume. I couldn't wait for her set. When it started though OH MY GOSH! So What was the perfect way to start off after the intermission. It was so energetic and fun. And then she had Cry Baby. It was beautiful, just like when she did it on the real show. I'm so mad that she went home on Rock Week. Rock is her strong point, which is so obvious to anyone who watches her sing. Oh well, we all have to get over her elimination sometime right? And then the last song of her set was Barracuda, which I loved. I'm glad that she chose to do at least one song by Heart. I love that band. After her three songs, I just couldn't wait to see hers and Adams duet. I knew it was going to be amazing, just like her. I loved all of it! I already said that, but who cares!? Allison Iraheta is definitely my Idol. Even more so than Adam. I feel like I can relate to her more. It's amazing that someone only seventeen years old is so talented and amazing! She is so pretty. And that hair, who doesn't want that hair? I just can't stop talking about her set. I love all the songs. I can't get over how awesome her set was. I just get so excited thinking about it. I am totally in love with Allison...in a totally not Gay way. I'm not gay. JK. Okay enough rhyming. More about Allison and her set. I got so into the set, there was no possible way of pulling me out of the awesome world of Allison Iraheta and her music. I didn't sit down the whole entire time. I was just standing and dancing and singing my face and skin off! Haha. No, really. I was so amazed. No dissapointment comes for me when this girl is on stage. There never will be when I see her. Love it. Whoever doesn't like her, you need to be checked into a mental institute. I can't stand people who don't like her. Like my brother. Whenever my brother talks about how she's not that great, (which is such a lie,) I get really angry. I will start ranting about how awesome she is and how wonderful of a voice she has. She is just such a beautiful and talented girl. I just can't get enough of this little firecracker. See, I'm repeating myself. But I don't really care. I am so happy that she made it to the finals of the show. Even though she got eliminated, she didn't let it get her down. She may have been crying when she performed her final song on results night on May 6th, she gave it her all. She smiled and just let it all out. And when she performed on the finale, she was just crazy good! Her duet with Cyndi Lauper was so pretty! It definitely worked for her voice.Okay, going back to the tour. I am so glad they came to Salt Lake. I had been wanting to see Allison Iraheta live for like months, ever since her first TV appearance. Te Amo Allison Iraheta! Tú eres mi ídolo.
So so what Allison? You're still a rockstar. You've got your rock moves. You don't need nobody. Rock on girl!
Danny went next. I'm not his biggest fan, but last night, I think he was fantastic! I love Rascal Flatt's and I think he totally did My Wish and What Hurts the Most complete justice. I think that band would be so totally proud of him right now. I started crying like half way through What Hurts the Most. It was beautiful. I always thought that he did such a good job with that song. Some people think his speech was too Religious and preacherishy. I don't think it was at all. It was really inspiring though. It made me think. And I'm a dreamer, and he was talking about never giving up on your dreams. After that, I'm never giving up on my dreams. I like Danny now. He is really good. Who cares if he is some like preacher dude. I'm not a religious person, but his set was beautiful and moving. All of it. Especially the Rascal Flatts songs. Those two songs really got to me and my heart. Im not emotional either, but they definitely brought all of the emotion stored up inside of me out. Good job Danny. I am really really proud of you man.
OMG OMG OMG! There were two extremely good sets during the concert. Adam's was so definitely one of them. The other's was Allison's, but we already talked about her, so let's talk about Adam's set. UUUUUUUUUHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAZZZZZZZZZZZZZIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNGGGG!! I love that man to tiny little barely seen pieces. I mean, who doesn't? Definitely not me! Now, back to his set... Let us start with Whole Lotta Love. Oh my God! That was seriously amazing... and definitely hot! I mean what he did with his mic stand. Whoever wasn't a little queezy needs to pay more attention to life. I was like totally drooling. My mom was sorta frieked out, but oh well. Whatcha gonna do? All the girls in the stadium were screaming thier little girly voices out. I was screaming too of course. But my voice is lower, but still in girl range for some screaming. I can't scream nearly as loud as some girls there. Thier range of screaming sort of scares me. Now, let us talk about Mad World. I loved this song the first time that he did it on the show! I just find his version so dramatic and interesting. I think its way better than the original. It is so eery and cool!!!! I am so frieken happy that he chose to sing this song on tour! It fits his voice and personality so perfectly! Then the David Bowie medley was great! It wasn't my favorite part of his set, but it was amazing all the same! A few days before the concert, I started listening to some David Bowie. Now, I think that his songs are really good. He is a great artist. I can see what Adam likes about him. Now let's end this with my favorite of his set. His duet with Allison: Slow Ride. OH MY GOD. If my mom thought I was going crazy when I saw it on the TV during Rock Week, you should have seen me at the concert. I was like totally frieking out. I loved it! The song is amazing! Their voices just blend together perfectly and the chemistry between them is amazing! It was adorable because he introduced her as his little sister. Like Randy said, they really should do a duet on thier albums! It would make my day! I'm glad that Adam gave up a song for his set to do the duet with Allison. All in all, his set was amazing! Adam rocks! He's just like one of the hottest guys on the face of the planet, or in this universe.
Kris Allen. The winner of American Idol. He was really good. It definitely wasn't my favorite of the night, but It was really good. I got into his set a little bit. I do think he couldve done better though. The only impressive thing about his set was Hey Jude. I totally love that song and was so happy when he did it. It's a beautiful song, and he totally made it his own. It was great! I totally pulled in. I was waving my arms with my phone out the whole time while singing along. Even my mom got into it! My brother didn't, but us girls did. We didn't have the best seats, but it didn't matter. We could still see pretty well. It really got me in my heart. Just the emotion coming from him was great. And he played the guitar too. That was definitely a bonus for me! Kris Allen... keep rocking! Your album is going to be great!
Okay. So that's what I thought of the concert. Now after the concert, we totally ran to the barriers where the idols would be signing autographs and stuff. We got in the front row which was definitely great. The not so great thing about it was waiting for like two hours for them to come out. That wasn't fun. At least it wasn't cold out. I was being squished between these two blondes who looked kind of slutty and ditzy. Let me tell you. I couldn't wait until I got away from them. It was so exciting when the idols came out. I got autographs from Anoop, Meaghan, Danny, Adam, and Allison. I got a picture with Meaghan and Allison! One of the best times of my life. When I got that picture with Allison. It made my life. After that, everybody was like gone, so we went home. The concert was amazing. Hope next years will be just as good!
