my cousin!
how much time flies!!! my cousin (on my mom's side) just wrote to me because my sister told her i was in china. and all of a sudden, i found out SO much about her!!! she's going to thailand in a week and is planning on staying in asia for an entire year, backpacking!! i told her also about my possible plans to go to peru, and she also had done a backpacking trip through south america!!!! she read my china blog and said it sounded like we had so much in common. she remembered me as a "little girl," and i suppose a junior in high school can be classified as such. she's four years older than me, and i feel so terrible we lost contact with each other!! she waitresses for a year and backpacks for a year. wow. WOW. this is so amazing and such an inspiration. i can't wait to catch up wherever she is in asia and get to know this girl of my own flesh and blood! .. an inspiration, truly
