Bios... bios... Not gonna do these an any particular order. So, since he's the most active at the moment... Fanny!Maku. Purg!Maku is... pretty different in a lot of ways, so he'll get his own later.
Also not going to go into canon backgrounds unless there's something that needs to be mentioned. Most of 'em you can just wiki or google. Besides, this is long enough as is. ^_~

Character Info: Since the IL incident, Makubex has been a happier person. He's still prone to bouts of depression, but he smiles much more. At some point, he was whisked off to Protos Fotia, his memories wiped clean. Free from the ghosts of his path and the truth of his existence, Makubex was quite cheerful. Shortly after arriving (on Halloween, to be precise), he was assigned a dorm and quickly became friends with his roommate, Sakon, who he initially mistook for a woman, thanks to his geisha costume. Makubex developed a bit of a crush on Sakon and hesitantly agreed to dress as a geisha with him at the next opportunity so he wouldn't have to do so alone. Somehow, Sakon and Nuriko took this much father than Makubex had hoped and... the Geisha Brigade was born. At some point, he was also adopted by Nuriko and Haruka and befriended Lina.
Makubex was eventually returned to Mugenjou, his memories of the school gone. He later found himself in Flamingo Heights. He was worried about leaving his post, but has been convinced to stay for his own happiness. He set up a special system that allows him to keep an eye on things.
When his old friends appeared in his new school, fuzzy memories started to resurface and their relationships carried over. As did the Brigade. See below for more info.
Makubex currently lives on the Strahl, although he often doesn't feel like part of the crew. This is mostly due to his own insecurities and his loyalty to his own gang, the Volts. Claiming himself as part of another group under a different leader feels like blasphemy.
Without the constant burden of leadership, Makubex has let himself be more carefree, although he will step up and take responsibility when needed. He can be quite sarcastic and enjoys a good harmless prank. He greatly fears abandonment. He can be quite broody and hides himself in a virtual replica of his comfort spot back home when he's extremely upset.
Makubex also has a rather large "big brother" instinct, which probably stems from his time as the youngest of the Four Kings of Volts. He's used to being the one protected and looked over, so he can't help but take certain people under his wing.
He's strongest with a computer and can do just about anything with them. He also gets airsick, still can’t swim, and has a low tolerance for alcohol.
Canon Relationships:
-Kazuki - One of his fellow kings. Makubex has a lot of respect for Kazuki and sees him as a brother. They've been through a lot and are usually pretty good about reading each other. Makubex still feels as if he owes Kazuki for what he did to him during the I.L. incident.
-Ginji - Makubex adores Ginji, almost to the point of hero worship. Ginji has saved his life in more ways than one. He's very happy to have him so close.
-Ban - ...Maku is secretly happy he's gone. Even if he feels bad for Ginji.
-Juubei - Makubex loves having him around as well, but wishes he wouldn't worry about him so much. He may have had a tiny crush on Juubei at some point, but always knew Juubei was strictly Kazuki's.
-Sakura - Sakura has always been somewhat of a motherly figure to Makubex, although he sees her more as a big sister. He missed her terribly, so he was very pleased to hear she was staying. He hopes Lina won’t get too jealous.

Okay, I so know I’m gonna forget someone here, so if I miss a character, poke me and I’ll add ‘em. …Maku likes too many people. D:
-Lina - Makubex is head over heels in love with her. They originally met at a different school, but neither could remember many specifics when they were first reunited. Although they did realize that Makubex had taught her how to use a computer. (Her first typed words, "UP YOURS".) They quickly bonded again and, with Yuuko's urging, became a couple sometime after their first kiss on the Sea World trip. Their relationship is far from perfect, with Lina's temper and occasional jealousy and Maku's... plethora of issues. However, they're pretty good at overcoming any hurdles. They're imperfect, but strong. Makubex realizes that the odds of them staying together forever are slim. Any time, Lina could be dragged back to her own world. This plus the fact that being connected so closely to him could put her in danger if she ever came to Mugenjou (and, obviously, their ages) has him wary of engagement. Makubex is still can be bashful and clumsy when it comes to the more physical aspects of their relationship.
-Sakon - As mentioned above, Makubex became fast friends with Sakon when they were assigned as roommates. Sakon is one of the very few people Makubex would do absolutely anything for with little thought for consequence, as proven by the Geisha Brigade’s origins. He still has a crush on Sakon, but realizes that he surrendered any chance he may have had when he took up with Lina. He does feel much better about Sakon’s relationship with Luke now, but he was devastated that he wasn’t told about the pair until months after they hooked up. Makubex is also very happy that Sakon will actually play chess with him and actually gets a challenge from it.
-Nuriko - It’s pretty much impossible for Makubex to be broody around Nuriko. He loves to joke around and tease with Nuri-chan. But he also feels comfortable going to him with his problems. While he sometimes calls Nuriko one of his mothers, he sees him more as a sibling.
-Haruka - I honestly don’t remember when and how Makubex was adopted by Haruka-papa, but the situation amuses him greatly. He’s known that Haruka is female for a long time.
-Saria - Makubex adores Saria. He sees her as a little sister and tends to coddle her, but he knows she’s quite strong inside. While he frowns upon Sakon’s harshness towards her, he prefers to stay out of it. He also knows about Saria’s little crush on him. He thinks it’s cute, but he does his best not to encourage it. He’s quite proud of the turn she’s taken lately.
-Midna - Makubex has a deep respect for Midna. The fact that they’re both broody misplaced leaders has a bit to do with their kinship. Makubex hopes that someday she’ll have some good luck in her love life.
-Vaan - Vaan kinda reminds him of Ginji, so he can’t help but be fond of him. Maku appreciates that Vaan tries to get him to feel like a part of the crew, even if he doesn’t like to show it. He’s very glad Vaan and Winry are finally at least somewhat a pair. He also highly enjoys his pranks and hopes to collaborate more in the furite.
-Winry - Makubex admires her mechanical skills and her mischievousness. Much like with Vaan, he’d love to make trouble with her again.
-Penelo - Makubex doesn’t know her well yet. He wonders if anything can dampen her mood, as he can’t remember seeing her anything but happy.
-Balthier - Kind of a tricky one… Maku does respect Balthier, but refuses to see him as his leader. Kind of already gone over that though, in the info part. He likes giving him a hard time. Maku’s still a touch sore about the times he’s been left behind, but he doesn’t hold it against him. (Tends to blame him, tho’.)
-Gren - Although he did run after Gren, Makubex doesn’t know him/her that well. He does find being in Gren’s presence comforting and, like the rest of the Strahl crew, he likes pressing his/her buttons.
-Fran - …kinda intimidates him.
-Michel - One of Maku’s earliest friends at Fandango. He still has a lot of fondness for Michel, but they haven’t had much interaction lately.
-Howard - Makubex is still trying to figure him out. He thinks Howard might want him for something, but darned if he knows what.
-Tidus - Ever since the pirate mess, Makubex has been pretty fond of him. He was very excited to be made part of the blitzball team and hopes to get to know Tidus better as a result.
-Wakka - Pretty much the same as Tidus, minus the pirate thing. Wakka amuses him to no end.
-Larsa - Makubex sees a tiny bit of himself in Larsa, what with taking on such a gigantic responsibility at such a young age and can’t help but want to help him in small ways.
-Yuuko - Who I so almost forgot... Makubex has a love/hare relationship with Yuuko. It frustrates the hell outta him that he can't read her, but she seems to know him inside out. But he knows she looks out for him and loves her for it. His other mother.

-In canon, Maku is 14. He’s 16 here as he’s had two birthdays since I’ve started him back in Epithmo.
-I kinda play a mix of anime and manga canon. I tend to follow the anime storyline, but take chunks of personality from the manga. Well… seeing as how he spends half of his screentime in the anime insane and the rest locked up… I tend to leave it vague, though, after the I.L. arc, which is nearly identical in both canons. Little moments like this influence me quite a bit:
