This morning I had an interview at a company that sells long-term care insurance. I've decided that i can never work for insurance. It would be the equivalent of me selling my soul to the devil and working for the enemy. The guy told me that death is good and while explaining to me the differences between long-term care insurance and regular insurance told me the following, "Arthritis? Okay to insure b/c it won't cost us much. Rheumatoid arthritis? Not okay, because it means bills for chronic pain." I sat there thinking, "You have no heart." Then he proceeded to tell me a story about his wife's convertible and I wanted to shoot myself. I obviously knew the insurance world is like this, but it really didn't sink in until this morning.
