Almost vacation time
Only 4 more days until we leave for vacation. I absolutely cannot wait to get away. Strange as it sounds to me, I will not be taking my laptop or work cell. After this one, I still have three weeks of vacation to use by the end of the year so I'm contemplating a few day cruise in the November time frame- who knows.
This past weekend we did so much. First time since Memorial Day that I saw my mom. Then on Sunday, we took Joshua up to Shenandoah Nat'l Forest and hiked some trails. Joshua made it about half way through a 1.5 mile hike but he made it through the uphill/downhill part.
We also got a lot of stuff done around the house. I weeded an entire flowerbed and Todd cut the risers for our deck stairs as well as finishing the stone trench around another one of our flowerbeds. Trying to get everything killed in the beds so that in another few weeks I can prepare the beds and start to do some serious shrubbery.
