yay! i finished my sexual ethics essay, and for once its not past 6 in the morning! woot to me. my essay was on rape, and one of the articles i had to discuss was so touching that on three occassion i started to cry. even while writing the paper, i would suddenly remember what i was writing about, and i would tear up. an estimated one in four canadians women will be raped in their life. the fact that there is so much stigma related to form of gender-based violence is so saddening. Rape and the discussion of rape is relatively hidden from view despite the prevalence of the crime.
anyways, i just wrote an essay on this - im not about to write another on lj!
