The wakeup song was King of New York.
After breakfast, I left with another student on our morning trip. We went to Shoprite, a huge grocery store, with a coffee place, food stations, etc.
We practiced following, working in the store, and heeling with a shopping cart. As there were 2 of us, one of heeled, and the other followed the dog. It was so cool!
After my trip, I had my exit interview Johnson. I made sure he knew how greatful I was for being able to return back to the Eye. We talked about my training here, he asked for suggestions, or anything that could be done differently.
During the afternoon trip, we went to Petsmart. I bought Vayna a finger brush, Nyla Bone, and Kong tire. She loves the Kong, and is quite happy playing with it. There were lots of distractions, so when we were looking at items, the dogs were to lay in front of the shelves at our feet, as they'd be out of the way. I got a nametag for her as well. One of the IA's, instructor assistants, went with us, as it was her first time going with a bunch of dogs to a pet store. Our class conversation on the way back was quite interesting, funny, and OMG.
We had our vet appointment, in which we were given information about our dogs medical records. The NZ paperwork is under control, and all's sorted.
After dinner, we had the clicker lecture with Lukas. It was great, and we also received our clicker equipment. This time, I got a red treat poutch.
After last park, most of us hung in the common lounge, and we had pizza. Jan, who was my instructor in the Kerry class came to see us, and she brought me a very nice cider, called Bad Seed Ginga Roots Craft Hard Cider. It was delish, and quite different. It was lovely seeing Jan again.
