Feeling Proactive!
I'm getting stuff done! I have emailed 4 departed Zinderians and been proactive about investigating future options!
I emailed Karl, who was RR (Regional Representative for Zinder volunteers) when I first got here, to ask him about his thoughts on the RRship in hindsight. He offered me good advice and i think we'll be in touch as I consider the possibility of applying for the RR job and extending for a 3rd year in Niger.
I also emailed a friend of a friend who worked the Ghana refugee processing NGO job that I'm also interested in.
Yay for making progress towards my future while also holding on to my friends who've left!
