TMBG is the best band EVAR. There is so much win and happiness I can't contain it and am all squee cause I was staring up at Flansburgh all night AND he gave me a vinyl copy of the ELSE (out in stores, get yours now, or on CD if you so desire) and I got it signed by Marty Beller (drums) cause he was the only member of the band to come out after the last encore.
The concert itself was SO full of win - they played some old favorites (Istanbul, Particle Man, Spy, Birdhouse in Your Soul, plus more!) along with tracks from the new album (Mesopotamians, Take Out the Trash, Climbing the Walls and a couple more which escape me right now) and there was CONFETTI (yes, I have some, shut up)
I am so in love with TMBG. I will love them till the day I die.
Seriously considering going to Nashville to see them tomorrow. Probably not, but you never know. Might try to make up for all the concerts I missed while living in Florida and Canada. *cackles evilly*
