Bodies..

Man, that exhibition was SO COOL. They had organs and blood vessels (yup, all the blood vessels in the body, perfectly preserved, without any pesky muscles in the way) and nerves and BODIES... I amused my sister cause I was muttering to myself 'There's the gluteus minimus, originates between the superior and middle gluteal lines and inserts on the anterior greater trochanter' and all sorts of nerdy stuff. ;) There were cross sections of knees, got to see the itty tiny bones of the middle ear, got to see a TB-infected lung, and just everything you could think of to see in the human body. Even got to see fetuses in their different stages of development.. quite interesting. The actual bodies were interesting too.. one had been cut in half, and separated so you could see where the organs would be.. some on the left, some on the right, and a few in the middle. One was a muscle man facing his skeleton.. one was posed in Rodan's Thinker and his spinal column had been removed so you could see all the nerves going down the body..

I have pictures, but may scan them in at a later date. I's tired. :P
