Random Randomness
I'm teaching composition for the first time in a year, so I'm having to jog my memory about teaching things like theses and analysis and stuff. Now, I'm about to go into teaching a major research paper and annotated bibliography. I check my email last night, and I receive an email from a student I taught in comp. four years ago; she had emailed me her sources for the annotated bibliography--when I taught her FOUR YEARS AGO. Seriously? There's now a four-year lag in my email? What other emails have I not received four years later? Did I miss a marriage proposal? A winning lottery announcement? Some old love proclaiming his everlasting love for me? :)
