Swimming in Bellingham Bay at 9:30pm. It was beautiful with the lights from the city reflecting on the water and the train running right by us. But yes, it was freezing. And murky. And all the rocks gave me lots of little cuts all over my legs. Peer pressure is a powerful thing. And at times I'm thankful for it, every Westerner needs to experience a chilling night dip in the bay.
Driving all the way to Burlington (about 30mins away) to get some Coldstone icecream the night before 2 tests. In hindsight probably not the smar test idea, but when I get a craving! I had a good time laughing with Alison, Matt, and Brian about the blood water they gave us. sick. We even saved it to give people back at the dorms to taste. "It tastes like sweet cream" I laughed so hard I cried.
Going to Hagens with Alison and Matt at 1am. We ended up in the deodorant aisle, spraying so much old spice I could feel it in my nose an hour afterwords. Then joining up with Abbie and all cramming in the small study room till 2.
Very pretty fireworks that I had the perfect view of from my window overlooking the city.
A girl in the middle of red square who kicked off her shoes and threw down her backpack and proceeded to play a harmonica and jig around freely. More power to her. Shame on those who smirked and imitated.
