Top things about today...
1. Jess was at work when I was expecting her to have off.
2. I got to spend a bit of time with number one.
3. I made Marika laugh.
4. I made a fool of myself in front of my Sue. She said that a guest needed help finding a DVD and she pointed to this older woman and so I started telling her that no, I don't have it and the only place in town that has it is Barnes and Noble and the lady looks at me and says, "I wasn't asking about that." and Sue says, "it's actually this lady who was wondering about it" and she points to the lady standing behind her. I get all red and flustered and go into the shpeil again.
5. I went outside for lunch since it was so nice out and Greg came out too and then Marlene stopped by and so did Marika and Erin and Lori. It was a busy table. If you know what I mean.
6. I had dinner with Danae and Lauryn. It was a good last supper and then we had ice cream. Yay ice cream. And Danae and I were talking about Arrested Development, such a good show!
7. Danae and I went to the mall to find her some shoes. At Famous Footwear they have those stocking things that you can put on your feet in case you don't have socks. I was bored and Danae wasn't paying attention to me, so I grabbed one and put it on my head thinking that if I were a robber, those would be much more practical since you can get them for free and you don't have to worry about the legs going all over the place and strangling you. Not that I am thinking of becoming a robber or anything, but it was just a thought. I then started to run around with the mask on my head (which didn't fit all the way) and said that I was just practicing to see if the shoes would be comfortable in my job.
8. Danae and I heard these small children making noise and so I went into the mall hallway to investigate and the salespeople said, Bye! and I'm like, oh, I'm not leaving, I'm just investigating the noise. And they said, there's actually a lady behind you leaving... awkward.
9. Danae found this pair of shoes she likes and on the inside there are these Chinese characters and she said how some five year old girl put that in there and I said how it was probably her name. She said that it wasn't funny, but it was. And we both laughed.
10. We were listening to my Happy Songs cd and Tom Jones, Sex Bomb came on and she said how she really liked Queen and so I went to the next song which is Don't Stop Me Now, and we did the same dance moves at the same time a number of times. Which just goes to show how much alike we are. We really are quite similar and she totally is me on red bull. I am going to miss her. A lot. But she doesn't belong in small town Wisconsin. Neither do I. And South Dakota isn't that far away, and now that I have a reliable car, I could go there pretty much whenever I wanted to.
Tomorrow I am going in at 5am because I am power cleaning my area. I am taking off everything from the shelves and wiping them down. Oh yeah. It needs to be done. And I might even clean the plastic dividers.
All in all, it was a very very good day.
